Terms and Conditions 1. These terms and conditions apply only to courses booked directly with Paul Gannon. For terms and conditions for courses booked through other organisations contact that organisation. 2. You may place your booking by sending a cheque through the post or by transfer to bank account (details supplied on request). Your place on the course will be reserved upon receipt of your deposit of £20 per person. Your deposit is non-refundable and will only be returned in the event that your chosen course is fully booked or if I have to cancel for whatever reason The balance of payment, if any, will be due three weeks prior to your chosen commencement date. In the event of booking within three weeks of the commencement date of your course, the whole cost is payable with confirmation of booking. 3. The following cancellation fees will apply if you cancel:
More than 21days' notice = deposit only 10 - 20 days' notice = 50% 9 days' notice or less = 100%
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. These cancellations charges will be implemented in all cases. 4. It is essential that you take out adequate insurance to cover you in the event of cancellation, personal accident, illness and loss of possessions. I cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your luggage or for any illness or injury you might suffer whilst on the course. I also cannot accept responsibility for any loss or consequence resulting from circumstances beyond my control. 5. Your course will be booked according to your choice of dates. 6. I reserve the right to change the itinerary of any course where circumstances dictate. I reserve the right to cancel or refuse any booking, at which time I will refund all monies paid to me. 7. I assume that you and all your party have a reasonable level of good health enabling you to undertake hillwalking in Welsh mountain areas. Please let me know of any medical condition that would be useful for me to know in advance of being in remote areas. I assume that you and all your party have some experience in walking on rough and/or steep mountain terrain. You and all your party must have clothing (including wet and cold weather gear) and footwear suitable for use in Welsh mountain areas. I can advise on what clothing is advisable if you need such information. I reserve the right to refuse to allow you or anyone in your party to partake in the course if you or anyone in your party is/are deemed to be inadequately fit or inadequately clothed or inadequately equipped. 8. Walking in the hills and mountains entails a degree of risk and by booking you acknowledge that you are fit enough and understand that hillwalking can present greater risks than everyday activities. 9. All matters arising from your contract with me are governed by English Law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Acceptance of the above conditions is implied when you make a booking and this constitutes the limit of my liabilities. BACK BACK
